Imagine being able to connect to your home environment, landscape or city and capture the things you find whilst wandering using a fascinating ancient photographic technique.
Using this photogram blueprint technique, you can turn your kitchen table into a blueprint studio and develop your creative eye using found objects from your garden, your local park, woodland or through found objects inside your home.
Memorable Moments
If you explore your home inside or out, you'll find objects of great significance. Perhaps they are attached to a memory or experience and by creating artwork from these you create a lasting visual record of parts of your life.
Wilderness Walks
Are you a wanderer with an eye for nature revealing itself through cracks in the pavements? In our moments of solitude when we let our minds wander nature lets us breathe a little easier. Take these elements of nature and turn them into artwork for your home.
Nature Lovers
Using beautiful Hake brushes to paint with you'll translate your favourite found objects to create your own unique set of beautiful blueprints harnessing the power of the sun even during Autumn and Winter months. Cyanotype making is a tactile way to capture the essence of your imagination.

About your tutor
Hello,
I'm Rachel and for the last few years I've worked as an artist using photography and the cyanotype process in my work. I live and work from my studio in England where I trained in both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Creative Practice.
I'd love for you to join me on this course where I'll take you step by step through this fascinating process and help you grow your own creative style, confidence and skills.
At the end of the course you'll have created your own set of blueprints unique to you and your own home environment.
I'll look forward to seeing you on the inside!
